The original from 1946 had a permissible total weight of 12 tons and had twin tires. Until the beginning of the 50's it was even allowed to couple two of these over 7m long trailers. A real challenge as a captain of the road.
The trailer is supplied as a kit, unpainted. The frame and the body are made of milled polystyrene plates. The flatbed has injection-molded plastic drop sides and is covered with a real wood floor. The steel axles with Trilex double rims are suspended in the frame with leaf springs. The drawbar is made of reinforced plastic and is held at hitch height by a tension spring. The towing hitch for the motor car is included in the kit. The 1-chamber tail lights with bracket and license plate holder complete the picture.
A lighting set is optionally available for the 2-axle trailer (item no. 251004).

2-Axle Material Trailer, As in the original and in the model, the 2-axle building material trailer reflects its attractive workmanship and appearance. This makes the trailer an unmistakable companion on real roads and as a model on the course. The torsion-resistant frame made of sheet steel enables a payload of approx. 5,500 g. A new suspension is also included, this can optionally be raised by 8 mm and thus compensates for the coupling level to a raised articulated tractor. The 2-axle stanchion trailer from "Riedler Fahrzeugbau" reflects its attractive workmanship and appearance as in the original as well as in the model and makes the trailer an unmistakable companion on real roads, as well as in the model on the course.
In conjunction with the TAMIYA Volvo FH16 timber transporter, this articulated train becomes a workhorse and is in no way inferior to the original. The massive frame made of sheet steel in connection with the aluminum stake allow a payload of approx. 5,500g. So that the different lengths of wood also lie optimally on the stanchions, they can be moved and freely positioned on the chassis frame.
To refine the 2-axle stake trailer, an optional set (item no .: 907623, with spare wheel and holder, 2 compressed air tanks and a lashing set) is available.
For use on the TAMIYA Volvo FH16 tractor, the towing hitch with item no .: 907182 is required, the assembly is carried out on the existing frame end crossmember.
